rink on parliament hill ottawaLace up your ice skates and get ready to experience a one-of-a-kind activity: Skating on the Canada 150 Skating Rink located in front of  Parliament Hill’s iconic Peace Tower. Open to the public until February 25th. You must reserve your free skating pass by accessing the Skating Rink site, up to two days ahead of your preferred 45-minute timeslot.

The rink is open weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and weekends from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Please check the weather updates before heading out as we have been experiencing some very unseasonal temperatures. Don’t have any skates? Not a problem, they can be rented at the Capital Information Kiosk at 90 Wellington Street, directly across from Parliament Hill. If you want to simply skater watch you can sit in the surrounding stands, available on a first-come, first-served basis.

For more information, please access the Skating Rink site.
